Jill's question: What if the piston velocity was eventually held constant, will there still be a pressure increase?

This is in relation to the thermos-with-piston-pushed-in problem.

So if pressure increases simply because there was an added force on the piston, what happens to the pressure when the piston is finally set to a fixed velocity? Will the pressure still increase?
